Art through the Generations
...from teacher to students
Esther Painter Hagstrom's granddaughter found dozens of newspaper articles in a manila envelope among her family's possessions. The featured topics of these yellowed news clippings were the teacher, her students and art in Coronado and San Diego. Because the articles are not labeled by date or publication, one can only speculate that most of them were written during the late 1940s.
